What's New on SheWhoPaints.com?

Does anyone have a personal Web site they update every day anymore? Or are we all spread out over the Web through social media sites, dating sites (for us singles,) blogs, photo sharing sites (like Flickr, of which I am on all the time and update way more than this Web site,) IM-ing, scrabulousing, commenting, etc, etc.

You catch my drift? (As a child of the 80's would put it.)

As a "Web professional" I update Web sites all day and frankly, when the work day comes to a close, the last place I want to be is back in front of the computer working on my own Web site. While I love the internet, I also value face-to-face interaction with friends ("What?!" my younger colleagues would say. ) And sun on my skin and tending to my plants - outside. In the sunshine. With the trees and the birds. Is it a phase? I don't know, but I don't think so.

So enjoy the site and maybe you shall find something new on occassion, but don't count on it. Rather than lie to you and say things are "coming soon" I'd rather deliver some realistic expectations.

So if and when I add anything new to the site I'll be sure to post it here on the front page where it should be (in place of this rather pessimistic rant!)

Until then, I'll be enjoying the fruits of my earthly garden:
