Shopping with a conscience can be troubling in today's ethically challenged retail system. Fortunately there are many companies that believe human rights, the environment, and truly fair trade do not have to be sacrificed to bring consumers goods they need and want.
My hope is that this guide will help you shop with ease knowing your purchases are making peace with the earth, and not another collective blow to her fabric. This guide focuses on online fair trade stores.
As a reminder, check your local listings for fair trade stores first. Shopping locally helps your community and conserves precious resources.
